Hire Information:
You will be required to complete a hire agreement form before your hire booking is confirmed.
Please email or phone us ASAP to check availability well before your event so you don’t miss out. Hire is from 1 day to 4 days. If you would like to hire for a longer period of time please email us for a quote.
Pick up is from Pakuranga, Auckland. Hire items should be picked up, if you would like them delivered and retrieved within Auckland, please contact us for costs.  Please note that fragile items and glassware cannot be delivered outside of Auckland.

Payment and Deposit Information:
Full payment of the hire item will secure it for you provided the date is available. Please contact us if you would like to check availability on your chosen date.
Cancellation of the hire will qualify for 50% refund if you cancel 30 days prior to the hire date. 30% refund 14-29 days prior to the hire date, 10% refund 3-13 days prior to the hire date, 0% refund 1-2 days prior to the hire date.

Due to the delicate nature of some of our products a refundable damage bond of 30% to 50% of total bill (minimum of $20 bond) will also be required at pick up and will be refunded once the hire items have been returned to DIY Wedding Shop and have been checked for any damages. If no damage or loss is found the bond will be refunded within 2-3 working days.
If returning your hire item by courier, you are responsible for the cost of the return and the safe return.
If there is significant damage DIY Wedding Shop reserves the right to ask for payment to repair or replace the hire item.
