At DIY Wedding Shop we have been helping our customers find the perfect décor for a wide range of different events for years. We are constantly evaluating new products, to improve the options we have available now and ensure we are able to cater for all kinds of special events. While we pride ourselves on delivering special touches to your wedding, DIY doesn’t stop there. We can help you source items to suit all of the event types below and while we don’t offer event setup service, we may be able to refer you to some lovely people who do.
Weddings
Our business began with weddings, and we believe having a beautiful and touching occasion is best achieved with a DIY touch. We have a wide range of items to help you create the wedding you want, whether it is vintage, modern, rustic or casual.
Engagement Parties
Some people prefer a casual engagement party, and some want something a bit more formal or grand. Whichever one you opt for, we are here to help. We’re increasing the range of items we stock that are themed for your engagement party, check back regularly for updates.
Bachelorette Party/Hen’s Night
One of the most exciting parts for any bride to be is the bachelorette party. We have recently started stocking items for a memorable Hen’s night. So grab your veils, sashes, garters and games and get started on a fun night.
Graduation Parties
Graduation is a big deal, the culmination of years of work. While the celebration may be small or large, it is always something that should be celebrated in style.
Our range of vases, mirror bases, diamond scatters, water pearls and table runners can all be used to decorate your venue.
Children’s Birthdays
Children’s birthday parties are loads of fun to organise and decorate. Tissue pompoms are a great addition to children’s parties as they’re affordable, look great, are easy to assemble and you can choose a combination of colours or just one or two to match your theme.
Our Candy bar is also a hit with the young ones. Add in marshmallows, lollies, cake pops, popcorn, or fruit for healthier options (berries and grapes would be great for these).
Plastic straws are out and paper straws are in! We stock these in a variety of colours that will work well with your birthday theme.
Why not add in a packet of water beads to your favour bags – these water beads, also known as water pearls, jelly beads or ‘Orbeez’ are great sensory toy and will keep your child entertained for hours (not recommended for children under the age of 3)
Milestone Birthdays and Anniversaries
If you’d like to celebrate your wedding anniversary, or 50th birthday in style, we have a number of products that will help with the theme.
If you’re looking for a lavish “Great Gatsby” theme, something semi- formal or you want to work with a limited colour palette. Our Diamond confetti, Table runners, Vases, mirror bases and Feathers will help create amazing tables and table centrepieces.
Proposals
This is one of our favourite customers, the nervous groom to be. We really love to meet and help with making your proposal something each of you will remember for the rest of your lives. Our range of coloured Rose petals, votives, tealights, pillar and flame free candles will help set the mood for the biggest question of your life.
Romantic or pragmatic, we can help make sure that when you ask that question, you’ll only be nervous about the answer, not the decorations.

Planning your school ball? Why not check our Hire range for our ever popular Ostrich feather Centrepieces, vases, mirror bases, table runners , arch, (great prop for ball photos). We can also order in chair sashes and runners to suit your theme.
